A Little About ARCA
ARCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping people to recover form substance use disorders. We recognize that substance use disorders have a tremendous impact the lives of individuals, their families and the community. This includes decreased productivity, increased health care costs, criminal justice costs and social services costs as well as one’s emotional, spiritual and physical health.
ARCA's Purpose Is To Promote....
- The personal recovery of individuals and their families through:
- Person-centered and individualized, variable length of
stay treatment, which includes current best practices/
evidenced-based approaches - Introduction to twelve-step and other natural support
programs - Participation in a regional continuum of substance use
disorder, physical health, and social support services
- Person-centered and individualized, variable length of
- Increasing community knowledge of the disease of addiction
through education in order to improve acceptance and support
of recovering individuals in the community.
Where We Serve in North Carolina
ARCA contracts with Managed Care Organizations(MCO’s) and Local Management Entities that manage funds from the State of North Carolina. The counties served by ARCA now include a 97-county catchment area. This means that even if you don’t have insurance, ARCA may be able to help. Please call us regardless of your financial situation.
